The Meza's

A WINTER/SPRING WEDDING STORY

We met Hannah and her family years ago to capture her sweet 16 celebration. Needless to say, when we were contacted to capture her wedding, we were thrilled! Their story is one of patience, spiritual connection, and undying faithfulness. A key component to this beautiful relationship, is both Armando and Hannah's faith in God. Whilst interviewing them separately about their story, it was abundantly clear that they each value Jesus and the example laid out in the Bible, and for that example to be mirrored in their marriage and future.

While they were in their consultation meeting, Armando and Hannah let us know that their wedding party would most likely be held outdoors. They couldn't quite find a venue that fit their vision, so Armando's father offered to BUILD THEM ONE. How incredible is that?

When the day came, the faithful El Paso, TX weather showed its windy side, resulting in a beautiful 2 day event. The first day was all about the nuptials. It was a beautiful worship service, with the couple surrounded by closest friends and family. Before the ceremony began, Armando and Hannah shared a moment to offer up a prayer (with no peeks at each other of course) as their last moments of non-married people.

Once the ceremony was finished, the absolutely radiant joy was palpable! Cheers, tears, and a whole lot of happiness. The newlyweds walked out of their ceremony, beaming with happiness. After to be surrounded by their joyous guests and family.

The following day, a most beautiful party was waiting. The dance floor was lit with string lights, the tables donned with twinkle lights and votives, children were filling the air with laughter, and a talented artist was perched, ready to create a live painting. The speeches were touching and centered around how proud the families were to be united; the love they all shared didn't even feel like they were now in-laws, but blood family. The bride's brother sang a beautiful song dedicated to Hannah and Armando and there was not a dry eye in sight.

We can't finish up this story without a nod to the cake! Not only beautiful, but oh so delicious. We have not seen a cake with all the flavors that were involved! It was tiers of coffee cake, accompanied by a coffee bar. (If you know anything about us, Hannah, the photographer, absolutely loves this combo). The guests then ended the night around a bonfire, then sent the couple off with a trail of sparklers.

We will forever value the trust of having us capture such a beautiful event, but also the beauty in seeing such a wonderful sweet 16 bloom into a radiant bride. We hope you enjoy this little glimpse into their fairytale.
